Mission Accomplished! ~ Karen Taubenheim, Tournament Chairperson. Before the final game of the Grace Classic, Mrs. Mueller was surprised and honored as Grace Lutheran School's All-time #1 fan. She was presented with a special framed picture from the students of Grace Lutheran. The inscription read as follows:
Today we honor you, Mrs. Mueller… Grace Lutheran School’s all-time #1 fan… Mrs. Mueller, over the years, you have shown tremendous patience as we temporarily lost our focus during tournament week. You have guided us to create the best tournament posters around– hands down! In your 37 years of teaching at Grace, you have served in the role of coach for volleyball, softball, cheerleading, and basketball, even the Geography Bee. But to us... the most meaningful thing you have ever done… is be present at so many of our games. We noticed. We noticed when you showed up at here in our gym after a long day, and also at the schools and tournaments all over town on the weekends. Thanks for being there to cheer us on and maybe do a little sideline coaching as well. Today, we honor you Mrs. Mueller as Grace Lutheran School’s #1 fan. Over in the corner, you will always have a chair– reserved just for you -to come to any game -any time. Thank you for always being here to cheer us on. Congratulations on your retirement. ~ The Students of Grace Lutheran School ~ February 15, 2015 ~ Please support these individuals and businesses who supported Grace as a Classic Tournament Sponsor. Thank you to all of the dessert, jello and beverage donors! Also thanks to:
To stand firm for biblical truths in today’s culture, being prepared begins at home — especially when it comes to life, marriage and religious freedom.
As 1 Peter 3:15 exhorts, Christians — in all ages and stages of life — need to be prepared to give a reason for the hope that they have. This includes articulating why God’s design for marriage matters and why it’s in the best interest of children and all of society. With this in mind, Focus on the Family has created this FREE two-part "Teach Your Children About Marriage" resource to get the conversation started. Don’t miss the heart-wrenching and inspiring documentary The Drop Box when it comes to Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema (W180 N9393 Premier Lane) on Tue March 3 at 7:00 p.m.
The film is rated PG and tickets are $12.50. ------------- Every year, hundreds of newborn babies are abandoned on the streets of Seoul, South Korea. The Drop Box tells the story of Lee Jong-rak, a pastor who has dedicated his life to embracing and protecting those deemed undesirable and unlovable. By installing a “mailbox” for women to surrender their babies, Pastor Lee has created an environment of love and hope for those who would have otherwise been abandoned on the streets. In addition to watching this moving documentary, you’ll hear from a panel of special guests including filmmaker Brian Ivie, Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist Steven Curtis Chapman, his wife Mary Beth, and moderator for the evening, Focus on the Family president Jim Daly. Don’t miss the incredible story of the forgotten, the abandoned, the discarded - and the man who is giving everything to protect them. For more information about the documentary, visit www.TheDropBoxFilm.com Mr. Brad Alles (parent of 2 Grace students) will be speaking at Northwestern Publishing House on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00 – 11:00am on “How To Grow (Or Shrink) Faith”. A book signing will follow.

Re-registration forms and tuition rates for 2015-16 were mailed home to families on January 30. The Board of Directors worked very hard to keep the increase to a minimum (2-4%) amid the rising costs of operation Grace Church and School.
Families are reminded that using SCRIP faithfully each week (even if just for gas and groceries) can reduce the out-of-pocket tuition costs. Families are asked to return the registration form with a $30 enrollment fee for each student by March 1.
